What is an IV Infusion?

An Intravenous (IV) Infusion is a solutions of isotonic, alkaline fluids that are administered by a qualified medical professional through a small plastic tube (catheter) that is inserted into a vein via a neeedle that is removed as soon as the plastic catheter is in place.  This allows us to hydrate you more effectively and efficiently than if you were to drink water.  The IV fluid takes about 30-45 minutes for your body to absorb 100% of the solution in to the bloodstream.  IV Infusions allow for high doses of vitamins, minerals and enzymes to be rapidly absorbed into the body.

Is There an Age Limit to Receive IV Infusion?

Most Infusions can be administered to anyone of at least 100lbs.  However certain other restrictions may apply.  Anyone under 18 requires a parental consent beforre treatment is provided.

How Long Does the Effects of IV Infusion Last?

1-2 weeks usually.  The frequency is determined on a patient-by-paitnet basis.  We customize a plan to fit your needs.  For preventative health and wellness it is recommended conduct IV Infusions 2-4 times per month to balance out nutritional needs.

Are There Side Effects?

IV Infusions are generally very safe.  Risks of side effects are minimal but could include: dizziness, faintness, warm sensation, itching.  

Is IV Infusion Safe?

All of our vitamins, minerals and enzymes are FDA approved and go through high levels of testing through our pharmaceutical specialists.  Before a client receives IV therapy, a thorough health history is completed as well as labs may be ordered.

Is There a Possible Group Discount?

Yes - Group Discounts apply when a group of 5 or more people book a session together.

When Can I Get an Appointment?

We are willing to accomodate schedules but normally our hours are M-F 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.  We are willing to provide mobile services.  We are willing to provide weekend services.

Do You Offer Shots?

Yes - We have a large variety of shots ranging from Skinny Shot, Fit Shot, Immune Boost Shot, B12 Shot, Vitamin D Shot, and so many more.  We can also customize a shot for your specific needs.  Some shots are able to be provided to you in a home kit, it will depend on Provider suggestion and patient health and wellness goals.

Do IVs Hurt?

TCS Health only uses Certified Medical Professionals for IV placement to enuse a safe and painless as possible experience.  We are able to provide numbing solutions upon request.

Is IV Infusion Better Than Taking Vitamins Orally?

Yes - Vitamins and Nutrients taken orally are only partially absorbed.  Getting vitamins through IV Infusion is a direct route to your bloodstream and your cells for maximum absorption.  Continuing your daily nutrient regimen is recommeneded.

Can I Receive IV Infusions While Taking Other Medications?

There are a few medications that can interact with IV Infusions.  Before IV Infusions are conducted a thorough health history is completed as well as labs may be ordered.  Once this is completed our TCS Provider will recommend choices for you that are not only safe but extremely effective and not interfere with your medications.

What Can I Expect During My Visit?

During your visit you can just take relaxing time for you.  TCS has very comfortable seating where you can recline, read, listen to your music, watch a show, etc.  TCS wants your experience to be as comfortable and calm as possible.
